Today after breakfast, your highlights of your Phnom Penh tour starts with a visit to the beautiful grounds of the Royal Residence complex; which includes the fascinating National Museum, the Silver Pagoda and incredible the Royal Palace itself. Lunch will be held at a local restaurant, before a reflective afternoon touring the Killing Fields and Toul Sleng Genocide Museum.The evening is yours; perhaps a stroll down the recently remodeled waterfront.Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Boarding at the boat pier. Our tour departs sharply at 08:00. We will begin by making our way to Koh Chen, a wonderful silversmith village on a small island just north of Phnom Penh. Next, we will visit Cambodia's old capital, Oudong, the site of the royal stupas.You will then be given lunch on board before continuing on to Kampong Tralach to see its stunning pagoda and outstanding century-old mural paintings. You will also be able to enjoy a nice view of the rice paddies.To end our first day, you will return to the cruise for a welcome dinner. The rest of the evening is free for you to relax on board.
This morning, we will continue our cruise to Kampong Chhnang, one of the largest fishing ports on the Tonle Sap River. Kampong Chhnang is also known for its market and pottery-making villages nearby which produce enough pottery to supply the entire country.Enjoy your lunch on board while we continue to cruise toward Kompong Luong. Upon your arrival, you will take a small local boat to discover the incredible floating villages.We will then return to your cruise for farewell cocktails and dinner in the afternoon. Enjoy the last evening on board.
In the early morning, we will depart for Siem Reap, enjoying your last half day to relax on the deck as we make our way across the Tonle Sap Lake.After a final lunch on board, you will be dropped off at the pier，your friendly local guide will be waiting to greet you and take you to your hotel to check-in.The rest of the day is yours to relax, rest and if jet-lag permits, do a little exploring of the downtown area.
After breakfast at your hotel, your awe-inspiring Angkor tour begins. First you will visit Angkor Thom, the last capital of the once great and vast Khmer empire. You'll enter through the grand South Gate, so you can see the ancient bridge depicting the legend of the 'Churning of the Milk'. Through the entrance and its on to visit the iconic Bayon temple, with its many wise smiling faces, Baphoun, the impressive Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch will be held at local restaurant.In the afternoon, enjoy a tour through the famous Ta Prohm temple, the so-called 'jungle temple', where beautiful fig trees are slowly reclaiming the temple site.This evening, you will enjoy a delicious welcome dinner, whilst watching a traditional Apsara Dance Performance at Angkor Village Resort.
After breakfast, you will start your tour by visiting the spectacular World-Heritage site, Angkor Wat. This incredible monument built in the 12th century, stands as a testament to the dedication and skill of the ancient Khmer people and is truly one of the wonders of the modern world. Lunch will be held at a local restaurant.In the afternoon, you'll explore the beautifully preserved 'Citadel of women' - Banteay Srei Temple. This temple is located a bit further out of the city, so on the way back you can stop at a typical Khmer village to have a little insight into what everyday life is like for most of local people.This evening is yours to explore the town and soak in the atmosphere.
After breakfast, your guide take you the airport for your ongoing flight to Vientiane. Upon your arrival, a friendly local guide will be waiting at the airport to greet you and take you to your hotel to check-in.The rest of the day is yours to relax, rest and if jet-lag permits, do a little exploring.
This morning, you can have the chance to explore the interesting capital. After breakfast, you will take a fascinating tour around the National Museum, then it's on to 200-year-old Wat Sisaket Temple and lastly, Wat Prokeo, which houses some of the country's finest sculptures. The rest of the day you can spend exploring the city on your own or relaxing at your hotel.Overnight at Vientiane.
In the morning, you will be driven to the riverside town of Vang Vieng. Along the way, you'll see the local people's daily life. En route, you can visit the Ban Bor Village and have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will enjoy a gentle boat trip on the Nam Ngum Lake.Once you arrive and check in at Vang Vieng, you can go and have a wonder around this charming town.Overnight in Vang Vieng.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will start your day by visiting a lively and bustling local market, and then it's off to explore the incredible Tham Jang Caves and admire the views of the beautiful countryside. Once you've soaked it all in, you'll be driven along the Nam Ngum Lake to Luang Prabang, when you arrive, your guide will assist you to check in. The rest of the day is yours to relax.Overnight in Luang Prabang.
This morning, your journey of discovery begins by boarding a beautiful, serene cruise down the Mekong River to explore the sacred Pak Ou Caves – thousands of carved buddha statues line the walls.After lunch, you will enjoy a city tour by visiting Wat Xiengthong, the stunning Golden City Temple, Wat Aham, which has depictions of Buddha's life painted on the walls and finally, the Royal Palace Museum, to have a chance to learn about the Lao history and culture.Overnight in Luang Prabang.
In the early morning, you can join a traditional alms ritual and accept a blessing by the local monks. Then, after breakfast in the hotel, you will head to the explore some of Laos's natural beauty by taking a trip to the Kuang Si Waterfalls.After lunch in a local restaurant, you will get the opportunity to visit some local villages of the Lao Minority Groups; learn about their traditions and culture and experience a totally different way of life.
