Arrival in Siem Reap
   

Welcome to Siem Reap, the gateway to the Kingdom of Wonder! Upon your arrival, a friendly local guide will be waiting at the airport to greet you and take you to your hotel to check-in.The rest of the day is yours to relax, rest and if jet-lag permits, do a little exploring of the downtown area.

Angkor Temples Discovery
   

After breakfast at your hotel, your awe-inspiring Angkor tour begins. First you will visit Angkor Thom, the last capital of the once great and vast Khmer empire. You'll enter through the grand South Gate, so you can see the ancient bridge depicting the legend of the 'Churning of the Milk'. Through the entrance and its on to visit the iconic Bayon temple, with its many wise smiling faces, Baphoun, the impressive Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch will be held at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, enjoy a tour through the famous Ta Prohm temple, the so-called 'jungle temple', where beautiful fig trees are slowly reclaiming the temple site.This evening, you will enjoy a delicious welcome dinner, whilst watching a traditional Apsara Dance Performance at Angkor Village Resort.

Discover Angkor Wat- Banteay Srei
   

After breakfast, you will start your tour by visiting the spectacular World-Heritage site, Angkor Wat. This incredible monument built in the 12th century, stands as a testament to the dedication and skill of the ancient Khmer people and is truly one of the wonders of the modern world. Lunch will be held at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you'll explore the beautifully preserved 'Citadel of women' - Banteay Srei Temple. This temple is located a bit further out of the city, so on the way back you can stop at a typical Khmer village to have a little insight into what everyday life is like for most of local people.This evening is yours to explore the town and soak in the atmosphere.

Siem Reap-Kampong Chhnang
   

Your journey will begin in the late morning, where you will be transferred to the pier for your cruise.Enjoy a welcome drink and lunch after check-in. The rest of today is free for you to relax on deck as we continue our cruise to Kampong Chhnang, one of the largest fishing ports on the Tonle Sap River. Kampong Chhnang is also known for its market and pottery-making villages nearby which produce enough pottery to supply the entire country.To end our first day, you will return to the cruise for a welcome dinner.

Kampong Chhnang Sightseeing
   

After a lovely breakfast, you will begin your day by enjoying an invigorating Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck. You are then free to relax on board and admire the spectacular marshlands as we cruise through the Tonle Sap Lake.Following lunch, you will take a bus tour to visit the nearby Aundaung Russey village where you will get to see the wonderful Khmer style pottery. Next, take a local motorboat excursion to see the wetlands, floating villages and fish farms.Return to the ship to enjoy a nice dinner. The rest of the day is free for you to relax on board.

Kampong Cham-Wat Hanchey
   

This morning, you will take a land trip to the ancient hilltop pagoda of Wat Hanchey, built in the 8th century. Enjoy a breathtaking view from the top of the hill.After returning to the boat, you will have the chance to witness a blessing ceremony performed by the local monks. We will then continue your cruise toward Kampong Cham, where you will visit Wat Nokor, a Theravada Buddhist pagoda built within the ruins of an ancient temple. Last, we will visit a local orphanage before returning to the ship for your on-board dinner.

Phnom Penh Highlights
   

After breakfast, we will start your Phnom Penh City tour by visiting the dazzling Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda and the National Museum.Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, before continuing on to visit the Genocide Museum and the Killing Field in town.In the evening, we will return to your cruise for a traditional Apsara dance show while you enjoy your dinner and cocktail on board.

Phnom Penh Disembarkation -Yangon
   

After a final breakfast on board, you will be dropped off at the pier, your guide will be waiting for you and take you to the airport for the outgoing flight to Yangon. Upon your arrival in Yangon, your friendly local tour guide will be waiting to meet you and take you to your hotel to check-in.The rest of the day is yours to relax, rest and if jet-lag permits, do a little exploring!Overnight in Yangon.

Yangon- Bagan
   

In the morning, you will be taken to the airport for your flight to the ancient city of Bagan. When you arrive, you'll take a tour around the impressive gold-plated Shwezigon Pagoda, before taking a wander around the Nyaung Oo Market; a typical busy Myanmar marketplace.After lunch, you will visit Myingaba Gu Byankgyi Temple, a UNESCO protected temple, which is noted for its ancient mural paintings. After this, you'll enjoy a pleasant horse ride into the countryside, before you are taken to the top of the grand Shwesandaw Pagoda to watch the sun go down.Overnight in Bayan.

Bangan- Mandalay
   

In the morning, you will be taken to the airport for your flight to multicultural city of Mandalay. Upon your arrival, you'll take a trip to the 'City of Immortality', Amarapura, to visit the fascinating Maha Ganayon Kyaung Monastery, which is the largest teaching monastery in the country. The rest of the morning, is spent visiting the U Bein Bridge, the oldest teakwood bridge in the world, the unique egg-shaped Kaung Mu Taw Pagoda and finally admiring the view from the top of Sagaing Hill.In the afternoon, you'll take a peaceful boat trip across the Irrawaddy River, stopping off to see the Mingun Bell, an enormous and impressive temple bell. At dusk, you can enjoy sunset with the breath-taking view of the U Bein Bridge.

Mandalay- Flight to Heho- drive to Inle Lake
   

In the morning, you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Heho. When you arrive, you'll be taken to your hotel by the stunning Inle Lake to check in. Once you've had a short rest, you will head to the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, home to five famous images of Buddha, that have been so covered in gold leaf their forms can no longer be seen.

This afternoon, you will take a enjoyable boat trip on a traditional long tail boat; you will go through a floating village and visit the Long Neck Karen village, where your knowledgeable guide will explain all about these fascinating people's culture and customs. This is the perfect place to pick up a souvenir - not many people can say they have a scarf hand-woven by a member of the Karen tribe.Overnight at the Inle Lake.

Inle Lake- Yangon Highlights
   

After breakfast, you will be taken to the airport for the flight to Yangon, your lifetime Yangon tour starts by visiting two of the temples that give the country it's namesake; the famous Shwedagon Pagoda - the largest and most sacred Buddhist temple in Myanmar. Soak up the atmosphere here, before the next stop, the unique Sule Pagoda. You'll have the chance to sample some local food, after a stroll through the picturesque Maha Bandoola Park.In the afternoon, you'll get to experience the colourful, bustling Bogyoke Market and Yangon's thriving Chinatown.
