My Tho- Cho Gao
   

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)! Your journey will begin in the late afternoon, where you will be transferred to the pier for your cruise. Settle into your cabin and prepare for a breathtaking 8 day adventure to Siem Reap, home of the mysterious Angkor temples. This evening is free for you to relax on deck as we continue our cruise through the Cho Gao canal towards My Tho.

My Tho- Cai Be- Vinh Long
   

After breakfast, relax on deck and admire the scenery as we make our way to My Tho, a market town known for its many orchards, rice plantations and the most extensive cultivation of rice, coconuts, bananas, mangoes, longans, and citrus fruits of Vietnam. You will be transferred to the mainland by a local boat where you will then travel to Vinh Trang Pagoda by car. Enjoy a panoramic view of My Tho as you visit a tropical orchard, bee farm, and candy factory. Next, visit the Cai Be floating market, which is one of the most dazzling markets with the largest variety of produce in the region. Next, we will finish the journey to Vinh Long. Located in the middle of the delta between two arms of the mighty Mekong River, life in this city centers on water, consisting of houses that are hoisted up on stilts that are planted into banks of the river.

Sa Dec- Cao Lan
   

In the early morning, we will head towards Sa Dec, a little known city on the delta where the french writer Marguerite Duras lived during her childhood. Once our tour is finished, we will head towards Cao Lan, a city famous for its Vietnamese resistance. Cao Lan is full of beautiful swamps and has a well-known bird sanctuary.

Border Crossing- Phnom Penh
   

In the early morning, we will take care of border-crossing formalities. Once that is finished, we will head towards Phnom Penh, the bustling and industrious capital of Cambodia. Discover the city on your own before a full day tour tomorrow.

Phnom Penh Highlights
   

Today is your day to explore Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s bustling and industrious capital city. In the morning, visit the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and National Museum.After lunch, you will be given a guided tour of the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Russian Market.Return to the ship in the evening, where you will be served dinner as you enjoy a traditional Apsara dance show.

Koh Chen- Kampong Tralach
   

Welcome to the island of Koh Chen, a superb little island full of craftsmen with traditions that have remained unchanged for centuries. After you explore the island, we will return to the ship and make our way towards Kampong Tralach, where you may enjoy a lovely lunch with the inhabitants. Kampong Tralach is home to a stunning pagoda and outstanding century-old mural paintings. Take a stroll through the paddy fields before visiting the beautiful Vihara of Kampong Leu pagoda.

Kampong Chhnang- Chnok Tru
   

After breakfast, we will continue our cruise to Kampong Chhnang, one of the largest fishing ports on the Tonle Sap River. Kampong Chhnang is also known for its market and pottery-making villages nearby which produce enough pottery to supply the entire country. Next, we will set sail to the floating village of Chnok Tru. Chnok Tru is a seldom visited village where Vietnamese-originated fishermen self-sufficiently live off of the land.

Tonle Sap- Siem Reap
   

In the early morning, we will depart for Siem Reap, enjoying your last morning to relax on the deck as we make our way across the tranquil Tonle Sap Lake. The Tonle Sap is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Its waters rise from 2 to 11 meters and it quadruples its surface during rainy season between August and January. Relax on board as we sail past the stilted houses and floating villages that are part of this fascinating region.After a final breakfast on board, you will be dropped off at the pier and transferred to the city center to continue your onward journey.
