Welcome to Myanmar – the Land of the Golden Pagodas! Upon your arrival in Yangon, your friendly local tour guide will be waiting to meet you and take you to your hotel to check-in. After a short rest, your once in a lifetime Myanmar tour starts by visiting two of the temples that give the country it's namesake; the famous Shwedagon Pagoda - the largest and most sacred Buddhist temple in Myanmar. Soak up the atmosphere here, before the next stop, the unique Sule Pagoda. You'll have the chance to sample some local food, after a stroll through the picturesque Maha Bandoola Park.In the afternoon, you'll get to experience the colourful, bustling Bogyoke Market and Yangon's thriving Chinatown.
In the morning, you will be driven to one of Myanmar's must-see beaches, Ngwe Saung. On your arrival, you can head straight down to the beautiful beach and wait for the glorious sunset.Overnight in Ngwe Saung.
Time for a bit of rest and relaxation. Today is yours to enjoy the sunshine, take a dip in the ocean, sample some of the local seafood and watch the gorgeous sunset.

After breakfast, you can go for a final wander down the beach, before you are taken back to Yangon, to the airport for your ongoing flight to Luang Prabang. Upon your arrival, a friendly local guide will be waiting at the airport to greet you and take you to your hotel to check-in.The rest of the day is yours to relax, rest and if jet-lag permits, do a little exploring of the local night market. Today, Your cruise will depart at approximately 14:00. Settle into your cabin as we begin our 6 day cruise. After a guided walk up Mount Phou Si, enjoy a spectacular view and sunset overlooking the surrounding mountains as well as the Mekong and the Khan Rivers. Appreciate the unique atmosphere created where the French colonial architecture collides with traditional Buddhist temples.Take a stroll along the Mekong river and then head to the vibrant night market of the local Hmong minority group.Return back to the ship and enjoy a welcome dinner on board followed by relaxation time in the evening.
Today, you will begin the day by observing the traditional alms giving ceremony in the streets of Luang Prabang.After enjoying your breakfast on board, your guide will take you to on a city tour where you will explore the famous temples of Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Khili and Wat Sene.Once you have returned to the ship we will set off on our cruise, sailing up a secluded riverbank. The rest of the day is free for you to appreciate the beautiful views as we cruise to the North.
Our first stop this morning will be in Pak Ou Village, where you will visit the breathtaking Tam Ting Caves of a Thousand Buddhas. After a relaxing stroll through the jungle, we will head to Laotian village to observe how Lao-Lao, the local liqueur, is traditionally distilled.As we continue to sail up the Mekong River you will have time to relax and enjoy the majestic beauty of Laos.
Today you will witness some of the most remarkable and impressive landscapes in Laos as we sail up the mighty Mekong River. As you take in the beautiful scenery, we will visit some local villages along the shores. Enjoy natures breathtaking wonders such as hills covered in tropical vegetation and rock formations along the river banks as we continue to sail.At the end of the day, we will make a stop along the sandbanks for you to experience a traditional Laotian Baci ceremony. The rest of the day is free for you to relax.
After breakfast, enjoy the spectacular views as we make our way back towards Luang Prabang. As we sail, see if you can spot the local fishermen catching fish near the shore. Once we have sailed for a couple of hours, you will take a bus tour to visit the Kuang Si Falls, the most famous waterfalls in Laos. On the way, you will stop to stroll through the small local villages.In the late afternoon, we will reach Luang Prabang. Enjoy your last evening on board with a lovely farewell dinner.
In the morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your ongoing flight. Leaving this beautiful country with many wonderful memories and stories to share with your loved ones back home.
